HISTORY AND LOCATION
Crescent Model Higher Secondary School .Shadman Colony, Lahore owes its foundation to the initiative and foresight of the late main Muhammad Amin, the managing director of crescent group of companies. it was founded under the auspices of the west Pakistan educational trust. ( Now crescent educational trust. )
The trust was especially fortunate in securing a piece of land in Shadman colony from the Government of West Pakistan for the site of school. It extends over 10 acres, formerly occupied by Lahore jail. The school started functioning in April, 1968 with 35 students in a few rooms of the Gaddafi Stadium. It shifted to its newly constructed campus in September, 1970. There are now over 1200 boys in the junior section, about 1200 boys in the senior section, about 1000 girls in the Girls Section and 300 Students in XI and XII Class of Higher Secondary Section,
The campus consist of a double storey building for the Senior Section, a double storey building for the junior Section, an auditorium with an Administration block, a gymnasium, two swimming pools, two cafes and ample playing fields. The higher Secondary Section is adjacent to the main campus and the Girls Section is at a distance of about half-a-mile from the main campus.
